Why parts runs are different
A Parts Courier for When the Bay Is Waiting
In the parts trade, a delivery is rarely just a box. It’s a technician who can’t finish a repair, or a counter that told a shop the part was on its way. Cargaroo moves those parts between suppliers, dealerships and shops, as a one-off run or a weekly routine.
No payment is taken when you send a request. Cargaroo checks the route, package and timing, accepts the booking and confirms the price; then you pay by card through Square.
- Pickups from parts counters, warehouses and dealership parts departments
- Drop-offs at repair shops, body shops and service departments
- Extra delivery stops on one run, such as dropping parts at two shops on the same route

Details That Keep a Parts Delivery Moving
Most hold-ups on a parts run come from small gaps: the part wasn’t pulled yet, or the counter had closed. Include:
- When the part will be ready, and when the shop needs it
- Unit, door or bay numbers and a contact at each end
- The part, PO or repair order number in the instructions (up to 200 characters)
- Packed dimensions and weight for each box
Standard same-day covers delivery within business hours, express requests faster direct-priority delivery, and scheduled lets you choose a future date and time window, all subject to availability. On a deadline? Call (647) 948-4093 or see same-day delivery in Toronto.

Auto Parts Delivery FAQs
View All FAQsDo I have to pay $5 for every package, even if I have 10?
It depends on the distance, not on how many packages you have. Packages going from the same pickup to the same drop-off count as one delivery, and the first 22 lb in total are included (then $0.20 per lb). Every extra stop uses the same price list, measured from the stop before it: up to 5 km away is $5, and 5.1–10 km away is $10. For example, a drop-off 4 km away is $5, and a second stop 7 km past it adds $10, for $15 in total. Prices are before HST; enter every address in the calculator to see your exact total.
Can you get a part to a shop that needs it today?
Same-day delivery may be available, depending on your route, the package and courier availability. Tell us when the part is ready and when it’s needed. For a tight deadline, call (647) 948-4093 to check rush availability and any rush charge before booking.
What is the heaviest part you can take?
Up to 200 lb per item. Standard sizes go up to the Large package: 33–66 lb and 90 × 60 × 60 cm. Anything heavier or bigger, like a transmission or a bumper cover, is Extra Large and is still priced instantly (+$24 per package, plus $18 for each item over 50 lb). Items over 100 lb need a two-person crew, which adds the delivery rate again ($60 minimum) to the instant price.
Can a core or a wrong part come back on the same run?
Ask us before you book. Extra stops in the online price tool are delivery stops, so a return pickup should be booked as its own delivery or raised with us first. Include every pickup and drop-off address so we can confirm the route, availability and total price. Each extra stop is priced by the driving distance from the previous stop, from $5 for one up to 5 km away.
Can my shop book a pickup from our parts supplier?
Yes. Whoever books doesn’t need to be at either end: enter the supplier’s address with a pickup contact and phone, then your shop as the drop-off with a recipient name and phone. Use the instructions field (up to 200 characters) for the order or PO number. Cargaroo confirms availability and the delivery window before you pay.
Can you run a daily parts route from our warehouse to our customers?
Yes. Leave your name and number in the business quote form and we call you back within minutes to go through your pickups, customer stops, days, time windows and package sizes; route lists can be emailed to hello@cargaroo.ca. Nothing starts until the schedule and pricing are agreed.
