Same-Day Courier Service, Confirmed Before You Pay
Same-day delivery is only useful if the window is real. Timing depends on your route, the package, the speed you choose and courier availability, so Cargaroo confirms the delivery window for each booking before you pay, rather than promising a time up front.
You can help by telling us two things: when the item will be ready, and when the recipient needs it. That shows whether standard same-day will do or express makes more sense. If it’s urgent, call (647) 948-4093 to check rush availability before booking. Distance rates and add-ons are listed on our same-day courier rates page.
For everyday runs without a hard deadline, see our local courier service in Toronto.

Send a Package Same Day From Home or the Office
You don’t need a business account to send a package the same day. Individuals use the same instant price tool and the same booking steps as businesses, and no account is needed to get a price or to book.
It works for the everyday things that can’t wait until tomorrow: documents left at home, a parcel for family across town, an item you sold online, or samples and supplies for a client. Packages from the same pickup to the same drop-off count as one delivery, and we get a signature at drop-off for every delivery.
Pickups can be at a home, an office, a shop or a loading dock anywhere in our 9 covered areas: Toronto, North York, Scarborough, Etobicoke, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill, Mississauga and Brampton. Drop-offs anywhere in Ontario, up to 500 km by road, are priced instantly too, and courier availability is confirmed for each route.
Whether your package can go today depends on when it’s ready, the route, the speed you choose and courier availability. There’s no fixed cut-off: Cargaroo confirms the delivery window and the final price before you pay. If the deadline is tight, rush may be available depending on the route, package and courier availability; see how rush is priced.
Before you start, check everything to have ready, so your price and window match the package. Wondering whether the post office could do it instead? See how we compare with Canada Post, UPS and FedEx.
Coverage
Same-Day Routes Across Toronto and the GTA
A same-day run can stay inside Toronto or cross into one of the covered GTA cities, as long as the route is available. A North York pickup bound for Markham, or a downtown parcel heading to Mississauga, is priced on the actual driving route.
Routes elsewhere in Ontario are priced automatically too, by distance, counted from Toronto when no address is in these nine areas. Every route still needs courier availability confirmed for your booking.

Same-Day Delivery FAQs
View All FAQsDo I have to pay $5 for every package, even if I have 10?
It depends on the distance, not on how many packages you have. Packages going from the same pickup to the same drop-off count as one delivery, and the first 22 lb in total are included (then $0.20 per lb). Every extra stop uses the same price list, measured from the stop before it: up to 5 km away is $5, and 5.1–10 km away is $10. For example, a drop-off 4 km away is $5, and a second stop 7 km past it adds $10, for $15 in total. Prices are before HST; enter every address in the calculator to see your exact total.
Is there a cut-off time for same-day delivery in Toronto?
There’s no fixed same-day cut-off. Whether a delivery can still happen today depends on where it’s collected, where it’s going and how much delivery capacity is left, so the earlier you get in touch, the better. Our support hours (Monday to Sunday, 6 AM to 10 PM ET) are not a guaranteed booking cut-off.
Should I choose standard same-day or express?
Pick standard if the item needs to arrive within business hours and there’s some slack, subject to availability. Pick express when the deadline is tight, since it requests faster, direct-priority delivery. Tell us when the item will be ready and when the recipient needs it, and Cargaroo confirms the window and any express charge before booking.
What courier does same-day delivery in Toronto?
Cargaroo does, for businesses and individuals. Standard same-day delivery runs within business hours across Toronto, including North York, Scarborough and Etobicoke, and to, from and between Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill, Mississauga and Brampton, subject to route availability. Enter both addresses in the instant price tool, and Cargaroo confirms the delivery window before you pay.
Can I get same-day delivery in the evening or on weekends?
Cargaroo is open every day from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM ET, and same-day delivery may be available into the evening. Whether an evening or weekend request works depends on the route and the courier schedule, and a requested time only counts once Cargaroo confirms it.
Can I cancel a same-day or express booking?
Contact support right away with your booking reference. Cancelling is free if Cargaroo hasn’t accepted the booking yet. Once it’s accepted, cancelling at least 2 hours before the agreed pickup window begins, and before a driver is dispatched, gets a full refund. Later than that but before pickup, only documented, non-recoverable costs may be kept, capped at 50% of the agreed delivery price. After pickup, cancellation may not be possible. See the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
What is the fastest same-day option, and is rush always available?
Express, also called rush, is the fastest option: a faster, direct-priority run. It is not always available: rush may be available depending on the route, the package and courier availability, so it is checked for each request rather than assumed. Call (647) 948-4093 or send the pickup and drop-off details with the item-ready time and the recipient’s deadline, and Cargaroo confirms the delivery window and any rush charge before you book. The rush surcharge is published with our other rates.
Can I send a package same day without an account?
Yes. No account is needed to get an instant price or to book, and individuals use the same booking steps as businesses. No payment is taken when you send your request: once Cargaroo accepts it and confirms the delivery window and price, you pay securely with Square. Get an instant price to start.
How much does rush courier delivery cost?
Rush (express) adds 40% to the delivery rate, with a $10 minimum, before HST. It is added to the distance price and shown in your online price before you pay. Rush may be available depending on the route, the package and courier availability, and Cargaroo confirms the delivery window before booking. All distance rates and add-ons are on our $5 pricing page.
Can I get same-day delivery with Canada Post or UPS in Toronto?
Canada Post publishes no same-day delivery standard for domestic parcels; its fastest standard is next business day. UPS’s fastest regular service is also next business day, and same-day goes to a separate urgent service, UPS Express Critical. Cargaroo offers same-day delivery across Toronto & 5 GTA cities, subject to route availability. Public information as of October 15, 2026; sources and details are in our courier comparison.
