West-end deliveries

Etobicoke Courier Service, From the Lake to Steeles Avenue

Etobicoke covers a lot of ground, and its business life changes as you head north. Condo towers and storefronts line Lake Shore Boulevard through Humber Bay, Mimico and Long Branch. Islington Village, The Kingsway and the Six Points area around Kipling and Dundas mix offices, clinics and shops. Past Highway 401, Rexdale and the industrial streets off Highway 27 and Kipling Avenue are home to manufacturers, wholesalers and auto businesses.

Because Etobicoke is part of Toronto, a run to the Financial District or North York is booked like any other trip within the city. Mississauga and Brampton are next door and covered too, so routes across the 427 are just as easy to book. Nothing is charged until Cargaroo accepts your request and confirms the price.

Pickups by area

Four Very Different Etobicoke Pickups

What the courier needs to know depends on where in Etobicoke the pickup or drop-off is.

  • Humber Bay, Mimico & Long Branch

Lake Shore Boulevard runs past condo towers, storefronts, studios and small offices. Residential towers usually mean a concierge desk or parcel room, so give clear access details and the recipient’s phone number.

  • Islington, The Kingsway & Six Points

Professional offices, clinics and independent shops around Bloor, Dundas and Kipling. Contracts for a law office, supplies for a clinic and print orders for a shop all book the same way.

  • Rexdale & the Highway 27 industrial area

Manufacturers, wholesalers and auto shops line long industrial blocks where unit numbers are easy to miss. Include the unit, the door to use and receiving hours. Moving parts? See auto parts delivery.

  • Sherway, Dixon Road & the airport edge

Retail around Sherway Gardens, plus hotels, offices and event venues along Dixon Road near Pearson. Event signage and printed materials can be booked ahead with Scheduled Delivery.

Typical routes

Three Common Runs Out of Etobicoke

Each one is priced on its actual driving route; the speed you choose depends on the deadline.

  • Islington to the Financial District

A signed agreement heading downtown along Bloor Street or the Gardiner. Standard same-day covers delivery within business hours, subject to availability; add the tower name, floor and a reachable recipient.

  • Rexdale to Woodbridge and Concord

Highway 27 and Steeles Avenue connect Rexdale’s industrial streets with Vaughan, which is also covered. When a shop is waiting on a part, express requests faster, direct-priority delivery, and any express charge is confirmed before you book.

  • The Queensway to North York

Stock or paperwork that has to arrive on a set day can go as Scheduled Delivery: choose a future date and an available time window, and the time is confirmed with your booking.

Same-day delivery in Etobicoke depends on the pickup, destination and courier capacity. For more on each speed, see same-day delivery in Toronto, or compare prices in the instant price tool.

Etobicoke Courier FAQs

View All FAQs
Do I have to pay $5 for every package, even if I have 10?

It depends on the distance, not on how many packages you have. Packages going from the same pickup to the same drop-off count as one delivery, and the first 22 lb in total are included (then $0.20 per lb). Every extra stop uses the same price list, measured from the stop before it: up to 5 km away is $5, and 5.1–10 km away is $10. For example, a drop-off 4 km away is $5, and a second stop 7 km past it adds $10, for $15 in total. Prices are before HST; enter every address in the calculator to see your exact total.

Is an Etobicoke delivery priced as part of Toronto?

Etobicoke is inside our Toronto coverage, but there’s no flat district rate. The instant price is worked out from the real driving distance, your package’s size and weight, the speed you pick and any extra stops, so a Long Branch to Rexdale run is priced on its actual route. The final amount is confirmed before payment.

Can you deliver to a Humber Bay Shores condo with a concierge desk?

Yes. Include the unit number, buzzer code, the recipient’s phone number and any concierge, parcel-room or loading instructions in your booking. Special access requirements must be confirmed, so mention them when you request the delivery.

Can I send from Etobicoke to a business near Pearson in Mississauga?

Yes. Pickup in Etobicoke and drop-off in Mississauga, or in Brampton, is a cross-city booking between covered areas. Enter both full addresses in the booking tool; timing and availability are confirmed for your delivery.

Can I book signage for a Dixon Road hotel event ahead of time?

Yes. Choose Scheduled Delivery and give the date, an available time window, the venue’s loading or receiving details and an on-site contact. List the size and weight of each piece; oversized signs are priced instantly as Extra Large (+$24 each), and anything needing special handling must be confirmed before booking. Print-shop orders are covered on our printing delivery page.

Can a Rexdale or Highway 27 business set up a regular run?

Yes, whether the run stays in Etobicoke or heads to Vaughan, Brampton or Mississauga. Leave your name and number in the business quote form and our team calls you back within a couple of hours to go through the pickup and drop-off addresses, delivery days, preferred time windows and package details. Nothing starts until the route, schedule and pricing are agreed.
